Aquella Golf & Country Club was opened in late 2021 and is situated 45 minutes from Phuket International Airport in Phang Na province.
Pacific Golf Coast Design have transformed the site into a championship standard layout carpeted using pristine Paspalum Platinum Grass. The layout offers an experience to test golfers of all levels and at just over 7,000 yards from the black tees the gently undulating terrain is sculpted to take in panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and nearby mountains.
The narrow gently rolling fairways have strategically placed bunkers that will test accuracy from the tee and approaches to the greens. Once on the greens, the subtle borrows and testing pin positions will require a players full concentration and make for some great competitive games.
The course’s signature hole is the Par 3 11th Hole that has spectacular views of the Andaman Sea . Although relatively short at 161 yards from the White tee, the green is guarded by the two large intimidating bunkers and the green has a steep run off at the back so distance control is paramount.
Aquella has modern locker rooms and The Approach Restaurant offers all day dining serving local and international cuisine with views of the stunning fairways and greens.
