The Katathong Golf Resort is the latest addition to the many top quality golf courses in Southern Thailand. Situated in the province of Phang Nga the Katathong Golf Club has an impressive tropical landscape with lush palm trees and natural lakes all nestled amongst a backdrop of stunning mountain views.
Like many courses in Southern Thailand the Katathong Golf Course is built on a former tin mine, and industry that boomed in Phang Nga many centuries ago.
From the blue tees the 7,023 yard layout has been designed to use the natural contours of the land with undulating hills, streams, waterfalls and strategically place bunkers. The course setting may be very tranquil, but the course layout will provide a tough challenge for both high and low handicappers. Good course management, precision and accuracy are required as narrow fairways feature on numerous holes.
Katathong Golf Resort has a full range of facilities including, driving range, golf academy, well stocked pro-shop, modern locker rooms, on course kiosks and restaurant serving Thai and International cuisine.
Located approximately 1 hour from Phuket International Airport the Katathong Golf Resort offers a memorable golfing experience.
